It’s a GIRL! Meet our littlest love.

For a sheep named Pearl (who was found in the trunk of a Honda Civic), a fortuitous rescue brought safety, sanctuary, and the promise of a new life for herself—and the small surprise she had on the way!

On the cold, dark hours of Saturday, December 11, Pearl gave birth to a little bundle of pure joy. Meet our newest sanctuary resident: baby Honeydew (Honey, for short). If you’re curious about how she got her adorable name, check out this TikTok from the fun and witty @emdoodlesandstuff.

This little lamb survived all the odds so heavily stacked against her, proving to us that miracles really do happen every day. See our sweet Honey’s story unfold as she clumsily takes her first steps into this brand new world.
